Waspen Terms of Use
These terms describe use of the Waspen website, beta builds, direct downloads, support, and related AlphaBytez product surfaces. App Store copies are also subject to Apple's applicable app license terms unless AlphaBytez later configures a custom EULA.
1. Channels and License Terms
Waspen may be distributed through beta access, direct downloads, app stores, or enterprise agreements. If you obtain Waspen from the Mac App Store, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies unless AlphaBytez provides a custom EULA through App Store Connect. Direct beta builds and enterprise deployments may have separate written terms.
2. Beta and Preview Software
Beta and preview builds are provided for testing and evaluation. They may contain bugs, incomplete features, changing APIs, packaging issues, or data-format changes. Back up your configuration before upgrading, and do not rely on beta software as your only monitoring or incident-response system.
3. Acceptable Use
You are responsible for the systems, URLs, files, dashboards, credentials, models, webhooks, and endpoints you configure Waspen to monitor or contact. Use Waspen only on systems you own, administer, or are authorized to monitor. Do not use Waspen to access, scan, scrape, disrupt, or monitor third-party systems without permission.
4. Monitoring, Automation, and AI
Waspen can collect snapshots, screenshots, logs, metrics, incidents, and workflow evidence from user-configured sources. Waspen can also run automation and AI-assisted analysis when configured. You are responsible for reviewing automation actions, external AI endpoints, webhook destinations, and any data you allow to leave your device.
5. Accounts, Licenses, and Purchases
Waspen includes a free local tier and may offer paid Pro or Enterprise capabilities. Purchase, subscription, renewal, entitlement, refund, and cancellation behavior may vary by distribution channel. App store transactions are handled through the applicable store platform. Enterprise procurement may be handled by separate agreement with AlphaBytez.
6. Support
Support is currently best-effort for beta and early access users unless a written agreement says otherwise. Enterprise customers and pilots may have separately agreed response terms. Support resources are available at the Waspen support page.
7. Privacy
Waspen's privacy posture is described in the Waspen Privacy Policy. The short version: Waspen is local-first, app telemetry is not collected by default, and data leaves your device only through user-configured integrations, support submissions, store/billing paths, or ordinary website hosting logs.
8. Ownership
Waspen, the Waspen website, product names, interface designs, code, documentation, and related AlphaBytez materials are owned by AlphaBytez LLC or its licensors. These terms do not transfer ownership of the software or intellectual property to you.
9. No Warranty
Waspen is provided "as is" and "as available" to the maximum extent permitted by law. AlphaBytez does not guarantee that Waspen will detect every issue, prevent outages, prevent security incidents, or operate without interruption or error.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AlphaBytez is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, business, goodwill, or system availability arising from use of Waspen.
11. Changes
AlphaBytez may update these terms as Waspen evolves, including for app store distribution, direct licensing, subscriptions, enterprise deployments, or new integrations. The effective date will be updated when material changes are made.
